Wisconsin Hometown Stories: The History Keepers premiered Thursday, Oct. 23 on WPT.

The 30-minute program explores the large, diverse collection of historical organizations in and around Green Bay and uncovers the people who were influential in protecting the area's past.

The Wisconsin Hometown Stories series is produced by WPT through a partnership with the Wisconsin Historical Society.

Through a partnership with the Wisconsin Historical Society, WPT is producing the Wisconsin Hometown Stories series with future plans to profile other state cities. Each program is a celebration of the evolution of a town, its residents and the stories they have to tell as a mirror of the entire state.
