Congratulations to Josh Engel, the winner of the 2007-08 Jim Santulli 7th Man Award! The award was presented to Josh's family during the annual hockey banquet on April 18 (Josh is playing hockey in the American Hockey League with the Albany River Rats). Engel showed his versatility his senior year, switching to forward at the start of the season before returning to defense for the final eight games.
This is the 28th year that Wisconsin Public Television's Badger fans have voted for the 7th Man Award, for the UW men's hockey player who gives his all on the ice and best represents the Badger trademarks of team spirit and good sportsmanship. Thank you for your participation!
