guest landscape quilter Natalie Sewell show how to create and individualize
fantasy quilts for those special children in your lives. Join them on a journey
into the world of childlike imagination as they teach how to make fun-filled
quilts.
Part 1: Create delightful quilts featuring whimsical, yet personalized, landscapes for kids. Adapt landscape quilting techniques to design fantasy-filled landscapes for kids. Nancy and landscape quilter Natalie Sewell show how to select fabrics, cut design components, and assemble and personalize a landscape quilt scene showcasing zoo animals.
Part 2: Design landscape quilts featuring animals, ideal for kids of all ages. Landscape quilts created with only two or three fabrics, plus some lovable printed fabric critters, are the focus of this program. Nancy and guest Natalie Sewell make a Panda Bear Picnic quilt, a Winter Horse scene, and a Horses in the Pasture quilt sure to delight young people?nd adults.
Part 3: Personalize landscape quilts for those special children in your life. Natalie Sewell joins Nancy in showing how to use photo transfer techniques to design quilt characters that resemble their namesakes, then depicts those children in individualized scenes featuring favorite seasonal activities.
