Christine Sloan-Miller

Executive Producer of News and Public Affairs
Wisconsin Public Television

Christine Sloan-Miller is the executive producer of news and public affairs at Wisconsin Public Television (WPT). She oversees all news and documentary productions for the six-station network, which includes local political and cultural programs as well as WPT's award-winning weekly news program Here and Now, the award-winning weekly newsmagazine In Wisconsin, and The Wisconsin Gardner series.

Under her supervision, the In Wisconsin series and In Wisconsin special news documentaries received numerous individual and team awards. They include a Midwest Emmy, three consecutive National USC Annenberg Walter Cronkite Awards for Excellence in Television Political Journalism, three consecutive Edward R. Murrow Regional Awards, Northwest Broadcast News Association Severeid Awards, and awards from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and the Milwaukee Press Club.

From 2002 to 2008, Sloan-Miller was the series producer of In Wisconsin. Previously she served as associate producer for the former WPT news and public affairs program WeekEnd.

Before coming to WPT in 1999, Sloan-Miller gained experience working at a video production company and as a news producer at a commercial television station in Miami. She holds a bachelor's degree in speech broadcasting from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
