The newsmagazine airs at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29 on WPT and is available in high definition. WPT will present an encore of the program at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1. Milwaukee's MPTV will air the program at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1.
As part of Patchwork Nation, a national reporting project in collaboration with The NewsHour With Jim Lehrer and the Christian Science Monitor, In Wisconsin Reporter Frederica Freyberg visits a Sheboygan dairy farmer and learns that many people in the agricultural industry are still waiting for an economic recovery.
In Wisconsin Reporter Art Hackett explores the blog of United States Army Maj. Andrew Olmsted, a soldier with Wisconsin connections who became a casualty of war in Iraq. With his blog, he told his story as a soldier, all the way through his own death.
In Wisconsin Reporter Liz Koerner meets a father and son in Platteville who have a fall ritual of harvesting wild nuts throughout the community.
Eau Claire writer Michael Perry presents his first video essay for In Wisconsin. Reveling in his fondness for trucks and tractors, Perry takes part in the International Harvester Parade in Madison.
This program's video postcard features the Necedah Wildlife Refuge.
