$86,400 in a Day (1:23)
by Lacey

$86,400 is a lot of money to lose in a day
You don't know it but it's there every day
86,400 seconds is a lot of seconds in a day
Why would anyway cast them away?

You spend your seconds with those you hold in the highest esteem
And spend your money on life's greatest schemes
You spend your seconds with the most important figures in your life
And you spend your dollars on your hobbies at night

Watch what you're doing and where your time flows
And don't open your wallet when the wind blows

These seconds you are given in twenty-four hours can't be saved,
Receive interest,
Or be set aside for later
You must spend them now or it's bye see ya later
As your money is left sitting it quickly goes away
The same reason why time doesn't pile up and stay

The dollars are disappearing as I speak
Whenever I think of this, it makes me weak
They're blowing out the window
Can you close it in time
Grab them and spend them before they can fly

If given $86,400 dollars you wouldn't throw it away
So don't waste a second in all of your days
Spend your dollars wisely so you never have to pay
