I'll Wait (0:48)
by Aaron

We met on Valentine's Day
I was attracted; you were taken
We were friends right away
Talking; I wanted you to stay
Wanted to say, but I'll wait.
Drawing closer, now best friends
Praying to He who never ends
Telling you how I feel
But you're not ready
For however long, I'll wait.
Praying for you and your safety
That you don't get hurt
And no one to you be curt
Deeper feelings coming lately
And if that's what, then I'll wait
My senior year, you at Prom?
A queen are you, beauty and love your crown
Let's never let that moment drown
In chaos worse than Vietnam:
I love you, for you, I'll wait.
