Why perform and share your poetry? (2:11)

This group of poets has many reasons for performing their poetry. Spoken poetry helps listeners feel less isolated. Performing is fun. The poet can give the poem its voice and give the audience a better sense of its meaning. It's a way for people to know who you are. And it's a way to release energy.
