I dream of a Utopia
That brought the birth of she
A world that holds and molds a gift of serendipity
And from this earth she'll bloom and amplify
Into a woman strong and sure
Who wears her race in a quiet grace
Her beliefs are willful
She won't be ignored
Words slip from her lips and betray her silent surrender to "the
way the world works"
She is adjectives like: feminist, independent, and idealistic,
And these hurt her chances of ever leading the American dream
That's okay with her, happily ever after isn't
as good as it seems
