What is love? (2:57)
by Mary Elizabeth

Many people say they know love, are in love or have loved
But really What is love?
Love is being with that one person, who doesn't even have to say it, you just know
By looking in their eyes, that if they could they would put the entire world in your hands.
Do you ever see a couple that are so happy and in love, that it seems like their love is a lifeline?
Like if they weren't in the world, life just wouldn't go on.
But really what is love?
Is it really as great as people make it out to be?
Or is it all an illusion?
A secret game, that no one can win
Or is love a dear necessity of life itself
It's awful that some people go through life and never find love
It is the best of times; it is the worst of times
What does that really mean?
Can we REALLY live without love?
Love is really that, the best and worst of times
It is humanly impossible to live without love, for an ENTIRE lifetime
Yet, some still try to shun and hide from allowing themselves to fall in love
Why is it right when you're at the peak of your love you seem always to lose it?
It's funny how love works out like clockwork
Things just happen naturally, exactly when and where they're supposed to happen
Or love can be a time bomb waiting to go off you never know what hand you're going to be dealt with
And that is the extremely scary thing about love
That's probably why it frightens so many
Love such as life is very unpredictable
A challenge
You hear so many people swear off love
OR AT LEAST TRY TO
But then another 'Mr. Wounderful' comes along
And you're stuck in the same place, as you were before only now you're hoping and praying
That he is actually the perfect man for you.
Until you find this love you can't be truly happy
Because if life is without love
Life is nothing more than an endless journey through a twisted maze
So dear friends ask yourself this 'ARE YOU IN LOVE?'
This is NOT an easy question
Nor should it be answered in an instant
For love has many sides to it
For it wears many masks
Thousands of faces
And holds a web of lies
But yet, people still seem to bounce right back into love one relationship after another
Do you ever notice how teenagers are always quick to fall in love?
Do they really know the true meaning of love?
Or even of life itself?
Many of them do
But so many confuse everything else with love
