Music notes, bible verses, smiles of cheerful hope.
Family, friends, same and different, movie shows at night;
Hugs and kisses, scribbled art, relationships lovingly tight.
Butterflies, your wedding day, vacations on sandy beaches;
Babies' laughter, swings and snow, the lesson that life teaches.
Long novels, fluffy pillows, fireplaces glowing red;
Teddy bears, jelly beans, not a tear I'll shed.
These are the things that give us faith and love;
That pull us on by the Lord above.
