Community Listening Sessions
Since 2000, WPT has conducted 14 community listening sessions. These gatherings bring together community leaders with WPT and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) leadership to determine new and better ways to ensure that Wisconsin Public Broadcasting meets the needs of the state’s citizens.
Community Forums on Race & Diversity
In partnership with the Urban League of Greater Madison and Madison-area Urban Ministry, WPT continues its series of screenings and community discussions on matters of diversity in Dane County.
Wisconsin PBS Kids
Wisconsin PBS Kids Outreach extends the value of our programming through classroom activities, training, web and print resources and community partnerships. Among these initiatives are the Wisconsin Bookworms project and the Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest.
