Community Listening Sessions

Community Listening Sessions

Since 2000, WPT has conducted 14 community listening sessions. These gatherings bring together community leaders with WPT and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) leadership to determine new and better ways to ensure that Wisconsin Public Broadcasting meets the needs of the state’s citizens.

Creating Health

Creating Health

In response to viewer interest and the national health debate, Wisconsin Public Television presents Creating Health, an ongoing educational initiative that addresses health issues important to Wisconsin residents. By integrating broadcasts, Web tools, and in-person events, Creating Health seeks to provide information to help guide individuals in making wise health decisions.

Wisconsin PBS Kids

Wisconsin PBS Kids

Wisconsin PBS Kids Outreach extends the value of our programming through classroom activities, training, web and print resources and community partnerships. Among these initiatives are the Wisconsin Bookworms project and the Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest.
