Wisconsin Young Artists Compete: The Final Forte
Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) will broadcast, live, the final round of the 2012 Bolz Young Artist Competition from the Overture Center in Madison.
Experience the beauty of musical expression, the amazing technical mastery of young musicians and the building tension during the course of the competition as four gifted young artists vie for top honors in this exciting event.
The program, Wisconsin Young Artists Compete: The Final Forte also features the magnificent Madison Symphony Orchestra(MSO) led by Music Director John DeMain.

Competition and Concert
The final round of the 2012 Bolz Young Artist Competition will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Overture Hall in Madison. The event is free and open to the public. Call 608-257-3734 for reservations. Audience members must be seated by 6:45 p.m. The 90 minute concert features the four finalists who made it through statewide preliminary competition. Each will perform as a featured soloist along with the full orchestra.
Broadcasts
Wisconsin Public Television, Wisconsin Public Radio and Milwaukee Public Television will all broadcast the concert competition, live, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 21. WPT will repeat the broadcast at 8 p.m. Friday, March 23.
