Vietnam War Travel Trunks
The Wisconsin Veterans Museum now has four Vietnam War travel trunks available for rental.  In the lead-up to LZ Lambeau, these trunks are a great resource to teach students about the war from all sides. The trunks include reproduced artifacts that fourth through twelfth grade students will be able to experience hands-on.  Pieces available in the Vietnam trunks include fatigues, helmets, rations, insignia, tools, rescue equipment, and more.  The suggested activities included in the teacher's manual are based on national curriculum standards, and include reproduction primary sources from the Wisconsin Veterans Museum Archives, music, film, and more.

To reserve a trunk or for further information, contact Jennifer Carlson at 608.264.6068 or Jennifer.carlson@dva.state.wi.us
