On Friday, August 5th, 2011, several thousand kids and adults explored ideas to “Get Up and Go!” on the East Campus Mall of the University of Wisconsin-Madison; playing games from their favorite PBS Kids shows, visiting our community partners, seeing a fire truck and the WPT production truck, singing and dancing along with Mr. Steve, shaking a paw with Martha and the Cat in the Hat! We had kids with Clifford ears, being superheroes like Super Why and Word Girl, chasing Sid the Science Kid bubbles and dancing like Angelina Ballerina. It was definitely a “Get Up and Go!” kind of day!|
