We Are
Flo Hillard currently
works at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as Project Manager
of both the Wisconsin Women's Education Network on Addiction
and Recovery, funded by the State Bureau of Substance Abuse
Services, and the Recovery Community Support Project funded
by CSAT.
Ms. Hillard has worked in the AODA field for 15 years both
as a clinician and lecturer. She has spoken extensively throughout
the Wisconsin and nationally on womenÃŒs issues, addiction
and behavior patterns. She developed a series of training
tapes and a manual entitled: Women and Substance Abuse;
Understanding the Problem, which has been used at Hazelton-New
York; Betty Ford Center; and Washington and Oregon departments
of Public Health.
Flo holds a Master's degree in health with a specialty in
addictions counseling from the University of North Florida.
