In response to viewer interest and the national health debate, Wisconsin Public Television presents Creating Health, an ongoing educational initiative that addresses health issues important to Wisconsin residents. By integrating broadcasts, Web tools, and in-person events, Creating Health seeks to provide information to help guide individuals in making wise health decisions.

Coinciding with the broadcast of DEPRESSION: Out of the Shadows, WPT hosted a mental health web summit to discuss available resources and appropriate policies to help Wisconsin college age adults suffering from depression. Led by mental health experts from UW System schools and Marquette University, the summit provides an honest look at the prevalence of depression on Wisconsin campuses, offering tips, tools, and advice on how to recognize the signs of depression and seek help.
