For our next installment in the Be more Tuned In Videocast series, PBS President Paula Kerger joined us at the Wisconsin Public Television studios in Madison to talk about her perspectives on the strengths of public television.
In our conversation, Kerger, who became PBS President in early 2006, offered her thoughts on the opportunities and challenges facing PBS and discussed some of the innovative initiatives she has seen from WPT and other public broadcasters across the nation.

Very interesting. I wish she had spoken more about the future of PBS and what it is planning.
She also talked about wanting more local programming and she sounded to be encouraging local initiatives by PBS stations to produce such. I would have liked to hear more about that as well.
