PBS on the go...

Starting this week, there is a new way to take some of your favorite PBS shows with you. Selected episodes of Antiques Roadshow, Now, Nova, Scientific American Frontiers and kids' favorites like Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman, Arthur and Cyberchase are now available for sale from the iTunes store.

Most episodes are priced at $1.99 (Nova shows are $7.99) and can be viewed on demand on your home computer or can be easily transferred to your iPod to enjoy on a bus or plane. Or, the PBSKids fare can be used to entertain your antsy children in the backseat of the family station wagon.

If you don't need the video of some of these shows, there also are a large number of PBS podcasts available for free download via the iTunes podcast directory or from the PBS homepage. Selections available include entire audio episodes of Now and Washington Week, selections from the NewsHour With Jim Lehrer and American Experience, and online-only selections like NerdTV.
