Wisconsin Barns: Stories in Wood & Stone celebrates the rich history of barn architecture in Wisconsin as well as the stories about life on the farm in our state's early years. This one-hour special also looks at what people today are doing to preserve and restore some of our valuable rural treasures. Many people have a sense of nostalgia about old barns and want to know how to save them. The UW-Extension's Barn Preservation Program Web site offers information on regional workshops, technical resources, related barn internet sites and the grassroots group called the Barns N.O.W.!(Network of Wisconsin) |
